Kite Sisters was born from a dream in 2010: to promote kitesurfing—a sport traditionally dominated by men—within the female community. In the early days, fear and preconceptions made it a challenge. But as the sport became safer and more popular, we evolved.
Drawing on our background in Marketing, PR, Advertising, and Logistics, we refined our services and transformed the Kite Sisters Camps into the high-standard, curated experiences we proudly offer today.
After years working in the Advertising, PR, Marketing, and International Shipping industries, we made a life-changing decision and followed our dreams. We opened our first kite school in the iconic Cuesta del Viento, Argentina — a breathtaking, windy lake nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views of the majestic Andes Cordillera.
The idea took shape: Kite Sisters.
In our second season, driven by the desire to see more women on the water, we set ourselves a bold challenge — to bring together female riders for a unique event. That’s when we organized the first-ever women-only Kite Camp at our local spot. The word was out — and the movement had begun!
In September 2011, our first week-long Kite Sisters Camp brought together 15 women in Peru for an empowering experience. They supported one another, pushed their kitesurfing limits, and embodied the spirit of Kite Sisters—claiming space in a sport traditionally dominated by men.
March–April 2012: We launched our first Kite & Yoga Camp in Caye Caulker, Belize, welcoming two groups of women. While living in Tulum, Mexico, we dreamed of expanding to this breathtaking destination—marking a milestone in our journey of growth and exploration.
September 2012: After four months living in windy Essaouira, we launched our third destination in this exotic Moroccan city. A place full of culture, adventure, and consistent wind—an unforgettable chapter in the Kite Sisters journey.
Two new destinations joined our calendar: Wave Riding Camps in North Shore Peru and Tulum, Riviera Maya. Kite Sisters was growing fast—welcoming women from every corner of the world, united by wind, waves, and a passion for adventure.
We launched our first official World Tour, featuring an annual calendar of all Kite Sisters destinations and camps. To make travel easier, we introduced secure, user-friendly booking and payment systems—offering our Sisters a smoother, more reliable way to plan their next adventure.
We restructured our Camps, refined our services, and enhanced logistics—driven by a clear vision: to transform Kite Sisters into the elevated, high-end experience it is today.
In May 2014, we hosted our first Kite, Yoga & Surf Camp in Cabarete, Dominican Republic — completing the list of destinations on our annual calendar.
Twelve Camps across the globe and over 70 new Kite Sisters joined our growing community. We kept pushing boundaries, traveling, teaching, and refining every detail to deliver even better service and unforgettable experiences at each destination.
The word is out—Kite Sisters is now hosting 12 Camps and welcoming 95 incredible women each year across 6 destinations. More challenges lie ahead, but our spirit remains unchanged: connection, empowerment, and the pursuit of adventure through wind and water.

We’re celebrating a decade of Kite Sisters! Ten incredible years of empowering women through kitesurfing, travel, and connection. We’re deeply grateful to every woman who has trusted us with her journey—this milestone is yours as much as it is ours.
After nearly two years of silence, uncertainty, and paused dreams, we came back. The pandemic hit hard—for our team, our community, and the world. But with resilience and hope, we reopened Camps in Belize, the Dominican Republic, and Peru—grateful to once again share the wind, the ocean, and the joy of being together.
A new year marked fresh beginnings. Slowly but surely, we brought back most of our beloved destinations. A solid, passionate team came together once again, rebuilding the dream of delivering world-class experiences with top-tier professionals. Our Kite Sisters began to travel more freely—Covid was behind us, and new adventures were on the horizon.
We reimagined our Morocco Camp into something far beyond kitesurfing—a rich, immersive 11-day journey through one of the world’s most vibrant and welcoming countries. This is not your average Kite Sisters Camp. Morocco Reloaded takes you from the magic of Marrakech to the waves of Essaouira and the lagoons of Dakhla, blending iconic stops, cultural exploration, world-class dining, and unforgettable kite sessions into one elevated adventure.
Brazil had been on our radar for years—we were just waiting for the perfect moment, location, and conditions to bring the Kite Sisters Experience to one of the windiest places on Earth. That moment arrived. Our first Brazil Camps launched and sold out in days. A new dream destination on our calendar, here to stay.
Fifteen years is a milestone in the travel industry—and for us, it's just the beginning. Today, we’re a strong, united team with global destinations, over 1,000 Kite Sisters, and the highest client return rate in our history. We’re proud of what we’ve built, but our standards remain sky-high. The sky is not the limit—it’s where we begin.
